Meghan Fialkoff, Northeast Executive Director of Foundation for a Drug Free World, hosted the 6th Annual Drug Free Heroes Awards Gala held annually in honor of the United Nations International Day Against Drug Abuse. The international day was founded by the United Nations Office of on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). There were numerous Drug Free Hero Awardees and the New York DEA and NYPD were guest speakers. Rapper Teemonee premiered the anti-drug theme song "Purpose."

Meghan is the Northeast Executive Director of Foundation for a Drug Free World and founded the New York chapter in 2006. Since that time, they have conducted more than 600 free drug education events for the Greater New York area.
